Wednesdays With Dan... Insight From Andrew...

"'𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬' is a strength of character, a philosophical position, a consciously valued and directed behavior, a habit. In any business category, fewer than 5% of the owners create extraordinary incomes, wealth, security, and independence; 95% flounder, frustrated for life. If you spent 25 years chronicling the behavioral differences between the mediocre majority and high-achieving minority, as I have, THE most striking distinction you would find is this: winners stick to things, but losers give up easily, flit about randomly. Losers waste all the years of their lives looking for the unicorn of modern fantasy, the easy button. Winners find winning strategies and stick to applying them. The difference is not talent. I've found talent to actually be the most overrated of all things, less likely to lead to success than most things." - Dan Kennedy

The road less traveled has been the road I've chosen to travel down for many, many years now. It's served me quite well. I often say... 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑒 𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑢𝑟𝑓𝑎𝑐𝑒, 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑙𝑚𝑜𝑠𝑡 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑖𝑠. And, 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑠 𝑑𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑔 -- ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ, 𝑓𝑖𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠, 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑠, 𝑒𝑡𝑐. -- 𝑖𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑖𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑟𝑒𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑖𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑜𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑒, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑙𝑦 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑎 95%+ 𝑠𝑢𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒, and most likely land in the 5% category Dan mentioned above. It's a 𝐶𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑛 mindset, a 𝑅𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑑𝑒 mindset. For over a decade I ran a 𝑅𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑑𝑒 𝐸𝑛𝑡𝑟𝑒𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑢𝑟𝑠 community and seminar business. We created so many success stories and friendships. To this day, years after the business was sold, many are still friends and private clients. (note: I have a new 𝑅𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑔𝑎𝑑𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ & 𝐹𝑖𝑡𝑛𝑒𝑠𝑠 brand in the works. Stay tuned.)
